“Washington, DC is a vital international crossroads for the diverse set of stakeholders who work together towards solving water challenges all over the world,” stated Patrick Decker, president and CEO of Xylem. “By locating our global headquarters right here, we place ourselves right where the water sector is most engaged.”
Decker and a selection of senior Xylem leaders shall be primarily based within the new headquarters.
“We’ll have the flexibility to scale back complexity, with a lean headquarters, at the identical time as we construct nearer relationships with all these in the international water group working to unravel the biggest challenges, and promote global water sustainability,” stated Decker.
Xylem’s new headquarters shall be co-located with the Reservoir Center for Water Solutions, a hub for multi-party, water-focused stakeholder collaboration, in the historic Navy Yard district along the Anacostia River. The Reservoir Center for Water Solutions is predicted to open in June.
