Xylem to relocate HQ to Washington

“Washington, DC is an important global crossroads for the diverse set of stakeholders who work collectively in course of fixing water challenges around the globe,” said Patrick Decker, president and CEO of Xylem. “By locating our world headquarters here, we place ourselves right the place the water sector is most engaged.”
Decker and numerous senior Xylem leaders might be primarily based in the new headquarters.
“We’ll be succesful of reduce complexity, with a lean headquarters, at the same time as we build closer relationships with all those in the world water community working to solve the largest challenges, and promote international water sustainability,” mentioned Decker.
Xylem’s new headquarters shall be co-located with the Reservoir Center for Water Solutions, a hub for multi-party, water-focused stakeholder collaboration, in the historic Navy Yard district alongside the Anacostia River. The Reservoir Center for Water Solutions is expected to open in June.
