A. Rigid Shaft Support Traditionally, plastic chemical pumps either have a single sided shaft support or only use plastic for a double-ended shaft support. The downside with that is that beneath high temperature or pressure, the shaft assist weakens leading to shaft deflection and subsequently vibrations main increased put on and decreased service life. The AME pump range is constructed whereby the impeller and magnet capsule are formed as one piece which eliminates the potential for the impeller loosening. For additional operational stability and rigidity, a metallic construction is embedded from the magnet capsule to the impeller blade further rising the pump’s operational life.
F. Simple Construction The stationary shaft design permits for a quite simple construction which makes maintenance and repairs very simple.
G. Reinforced Containment Shell The plastic containment shell is reinforced with a carbon fibre composite cover. There is not any eddy present loss, so no additional heating of the pumped chemical.
H. High Strength Magnetic Coupling Inner magnets are constructed from Samarium Cobalt (SmCo) to find a way to stand up to excessive working temperatures with out experiencing demagnetization. High energy neodymium (NdFeB) is then used for the drive magnet to provide excessive torque transmission.
