This is considered one of Svanehøj’s largest LNG fuel-related orders to date. pressure gauge 10 bar can be the second LNG fuel pump methods order that Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding has positioned with Svanehøj in the final 12 months. In July 2021, Svanehøj signed a contract to supply deepwell pumps for 10 dual-fuel LNG container vessels (15 000 TEU).
Svanehøj quadrupled sales of its patented deepwell fuel pumps in 2021, and says there are many indications that gross sales might enhance even additional in 2022.
“Until a couple of years in the past, the use of LNG as a marine gasoline was limited to LNG carriers and smaller ships. But we are actually seeing a pointy increase in fuel pump orders for deep sea vessels similar to container ships and automotive carriers,” stated Johnny Houmann, chief gross sales officer at Svanehøj. “We had been chosen as the provider of gas pump techniques for over 50% of the dual-fuel LNG container vessels ordered globally in 2020–21. And we goal to extend our market share further within the coming years.”
