Danish pump producer Svanehøj has launched its newly developed environmentally friendly Flow Control system, which automates the management of electric cargo pumps on tankers.
เกจวัดแรงดันดิจิตอลราคา of the newly developed software-based management system follows a profitable check in collaboration with the Swedish shipping company Furetank on the P&C tanker Fure Ven. The 18,000 DWT vessel was built in 2019 as certainly one of Furetank’s V-Series, a new era of climate-smart P&C tankers.
Svanehøj’s system makes it sooner, simpler, and extra efficient to operate electrical cargo pumps. It ensures an optimum changeover between tanks and pumps in parallel, reducing the time needed for cargo discharge by up to 20% as a result of the system will mechanically function on the optimal responsibility level. It permits the operator to take full control of the pumps, simplifying the entire cargo discharge operation without putting in any extra hardware.
Fure Ven is among the many first vessels at Furetank to have electrical cargo pumps installed. The company has recorded a 25% reduction in power and gas consumption in relation to cargo discharge operations in comparison with vessels in the fleet that have hydraulic pumps.
