Sulzer to put in writing off belongings in Russia and Poland

Following Sulzer’s choice to exit the Russian market and shut its Polish companies, the company has decided to write down off most of its assets within the two international locations.

Sulzer expects a one-time influence of CHF125 million–CHF135 million at current international exchange charges. CHF125m shall be recognized within the first half of 2022.
The one-time asset write-offs may have no vital influence on Sulzer’s operational results.
Sulzer will report its half-year results on 29 July 2022.
