Sulzer has opened a new state-of-the-art service centre for rotating gear in Vadodara, Gujarat, India.

Using cutting-edge equipment and superior digital applied sciences, Sulzer’s new centre will supply repairs, upgrades, retrofits and parts manufacturing for a variety of apparatus including pumps, steam turbines, compressors and expanders regardless of the authentic equipment manufacturer (OEM).
The 10 500 sq ft engineering facilities have been designed to deliver fast and environment friendly workflows incorporating digital and lean principles.
Sulzer has also invested in its parts manufacturing capabilities at Vadodara including new tools corresponding to advanced CNC 4-axis turnmill machines, vertical and horizontal balancing machines, in addition to expertise in design and materials engineering and additive manufacturing.
