Pressure sensor principles – a comparison

There is no “ideal” sensor principle. Of particularly great importance and widespread use are resistive sensor technologies, due to their reliability. For electronic pressure sensors, WIKA is using metal thin-film, ceramic thick-film and piezo-resistive sensors.
