PG Flow Solutions has secured a contract to ship pumps to a different two wellboats that the Norwegian shipbuilder Aas Mekaniske Verksted is developing for Sølvtrans.

PG Flow Solutions will present eight large seawater circulation pumps for every of the two wellboats. The Norwegian company may even provide numerous engine room pumps which are required for the main engine and help engines, as properly as different general-purpose pumps as required for operating the wellboats.

PG Flow Solutions lately received contracts to supply pumps for newbuilds 208 – 212, which are all Sølvtrans wellboats.
“We are very happy to be part of this value chain, which is now working like a finely tuned machine,” said Øyvind Berg, vice chairman of sales and advertising at PG Flow Solutions.
“The wellboats have been designed with fish welfare in mind. Our seawater circulation pumps have been developed with an identical philosophy. The merging of our applied sciences therefore makes sense operationally, financially and from an animal well being perspective.”
The pump methods will be assembled at PG Flow Solutions’ major manufacturing facility at Sande in Vestfold, Norway, and delivered to Aas Mekaniske Verksted’s yard in Vestnes, Norway.
