The MDM900 is to be used where capability and wear-resistance are necessary and is an all-metal, thick-walled, further heavy-duty pump designed particularly for terribly arduous mill obligation purposes.
The MDM900 mill discharge slurry pump features flows as much as thirteen,500 m³/h (60,000 gpm) and heads as much as forty m (132 ft). It has a FR2100 body, and impeller diameter of 2100 mm (83 inches) and an inlet size of 900 mm (36 inches)
Metso Outotec MD Series pumps have been designed for environment friendly operation and long put on life to match the mill’s uptime. The pumps come in two tailored options, MDM and MDR. The MDM (Mill Discharge Metal) pumps are available in measurement ranges of 250-900, and the MDR (Mill Discharge Rubber) models are available size ranges of 250-700. Both pump types are fitted to heavy-duty use in concentrator crops providing excellent resistance to abrasion and erosion.
digital pressure gauge , product supervisor for MD Pumps at Metso Outotec, stated: “Slurry handling is vital in maximising a minerals processing plant’s productivity and effectivity. The superior design of the MDM900 enables minimised slurry velocities in the pumps, thus decreasing the rate of damage considerably.”
