The KSB pumps will equip a number of pumping stations belonging to the “Costanera de Pilar y management de inundaciones” venture. They might be used to stop future flooding during the high-water season alongside the tributaries of the Río Paraguay.
ไดอะแฟรม ซีล of Pilar is situated 230 km south-west of Paraguay’s capital Asunción, on the Argentinian border.
Each of the Amacan submersible motor pumps weighs six tonnes and is driven by a 370 kW, 380 volt motor. The most circulate rate of each axial move pump set is about 18 000 cubic metres per hour.
The pump sets are anticipated to be delivered by the top of this year.
