KSB supplies pumps for flood management in Paraguay

KSB Group has won a contract to deliver 14 massive submersible motor pumps for flood control in Paraguay.

The KSB pumps will equip a selection of pumping stations belonging to the “Costanera de Pilar y management de inundaciones” project. They will be used to forestall future flooding in the course of the high-water season alongside the tributaries of the Río Paraguay.

Each of the Amacan submersible motor pumps weighs six tonnes and is driven by a 370 kW, 380 volt motor. The maximum move rate of every axial move pump set is about 18 000 cubic metres per hour.
The pump units are anticipated to be delivered by the tip of this 12 months.
