Daikin Europe’s indoor air high quality (IAQ) management function is an option available for the floor-standing model of its Altherma warmth pump convector (HPC). IAQ refers to the high quality of air contained in the room or construction.
The small wall-mounted controller continually measures the CO2in the room. When digital pressure gauge exceeds a pre-set threshold, the controller mechanically opens a damper located within the warmth pump convector. The open damper permits contemporary air to enter the building from the skin. The incoming fresh air is then heated or cooled to the desired indoor temperature by the HPC. Integration of heating and cooling with IAQ helps ship each optimal temperatures with improved indoor air quality.
Patrick Crombez, general supervisor Daikin Europe Heating and Renewables, mentioned: “Daikin’s improvement group is constantly exploring new methods to improve our merchandise with features which might be essential to building house owners, occupants, installers and for the surroundings.”
